MRC is pleased to announce the addition of our newest clinician, Leah Keval. Leah comes to our clinic via Colorado where she provided treatment to children, adolescents and adults suffering from trauma, addictions and other emotional distress. Leah offers a wide range of appointment times, including evenings to accommodate the our client's busy schedules.
"I am a licensed clinical social worker and believe therapy is a unique opportunity to cultivate connection and personal growth in life. My goal is to create a safe and collaborative environment by authentically supporting clients and emphasizing their strength to encourage change and overcome difficulties. Along with traditional talk therapy I use art, play and mindfulness to help clients feel in charge of their emotions and their lives."
"My therapeutic framework consists of using Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I emphasize the importance of developing a connection to both the mind and body to promote overall health and well-being."
